Over the past decade, Floor Collective has had the privilege of working closely with Wattle Court Sydney North across dozens of custom homes. What started as a supplier relationship has grown into something much more integrated: a genuine collaboration that shapes how flooring and surface selections happen from the ground up.

Jesse Mead, our lead designer, has been working with Daisy and the Wattle Court team for nearly ten years now.
As a fully qualified interior designer who specialises in flooring and surface selections, Jesse has always approached this work as part of the broader design conversation, not just as a product supply exercise. Over time, that philosophy has aligned naturally with how Wattle Court approaches their builds.

All flooring and tile selections for Wattle Court clients take place in their Brookvale showroom, where Floor Collective's curated range is integrated on-site.
This is intentional. Rather than sending clients across multiple suppliers and locations, the experience is brought together in one considered environment where everything can be seen, touched, and understood as a whole.
We're not selecting products in isolation. We're looking at how timber flooring works with joinery profiles, how tile finishes complement benchtop selections, how the colour and texture of a floor influences the overall feel of a space.
It's a much more grounded way to make decisions. With context, not guesswork.
How to Prepare for Your Selection.
Before meeting with Jesse, we encourage clients to spend a little time gathering inspiration.
Pinterest is always a good starting point. Even just a few reference images (a room you loved, a floor that caught your eye, a colour palette that feels right) helps shape the direction and makes the session far more productive.
If you share a board or some images ahead of time, Jesse can pull samples and prepare options in advance. This means your time together is spent refining ideas rather than starting from scratch.
If you've already locked in selections like joinery colours, benchtop materials, or paint choices, bring those along too. It all helps us see the full picture on the day.
A Curated Range That Supports Good Decisions.
Floor Collective offers a carefully considered product range that's integrated into the Wattle Court showroom. This includes their Standard Inclusions as well as upgrade options across timber, carpet, tile, and hybrid flooring.
The intention behind the curation is to provide a strong foundation without creating unnecessary overwhelm. The options already sit well together, so we're not starting from a blank slate. We're personalising within a framework that works.
This makes for a much more confident decision-making process. Clients can focus on what feels right for them, rather than trying to navigate an endless sea of samples.

Following your appointment, all selections are documented and issued for review.
This step ensures absolute clarity before anything moves forward. You'll have the opportunity to sit with your decisions, review everything in writing, and make one revision if needed.
It gives you time to feel certain before signing off. No rushed choices, no regrets later.
Once finalised, the documentation is aligned with Wattle Court's construction schedule to ensure a smooth transition to site.
